The Black Sheep Fiber Guild was founded in 2014 and meets once a month. With a mission to share and broaden our common interests within the fiber arts realm. This can include, but is not limited to, fiber preparation, spinning, knitting, crocheting, weaving, felting and many others. We welcome anyone with a passion for the fiber arts. In all our crafting, we found that we often craft items and then they don't see much use as we move to the next project. That's why we started this shop; to share our knits with you!
Owner, Creator, Photographer
I'm Rebecca and I've been into the fiber arts since 2002. In 2012 I really leveled up my knitting game. That December Santa brought me my own spinning wheel. Then, I found the Black Sheep Fiber guild!
Knitter, Dyer, Spinner
Miriam left the Windy City of Chicago to live a more mindful, simple and harmonious life on a farm. She hand processes wool from local farms and grows and processes her own cotton.
Taught by her family to crochet when she was a child, Michelle tried knitting in 2013. She is self taught and knitting has become her favorite hobby.
Taught by her grandmother, Renee learned to spin, weave, knit, and crochet from a very young age (3!) Now that she is older she mostly knits and spins.
