Luxury handspun yarn, breed specific wools and handmade wearables to delight your inner artist.
I am a late-blooming fiber artist. Having worked most of my life in different occupations and always for someone else, I had always longed to work for myself; to be my own boss. You know the old saying, be careful what you wish for? Well, an injury at work combined with other health concerns eventually forced me to retire earlier than I had anticipated, but had that not happened when it did, I might never have discovered my love of fiber... and for that I am very grateful.
First, I taught myself to knit and crochet as a way of filling time and keeping myself busy. A few years later that love of knitting and crochet evolved into a desire to spin my own yarn. I borrowed a few books from the library and taught myself to spin on an inexpensive wooden drop spindle. It wasn't long at all before I moved on... purchasing my very first spinning wheel, a Lendrum single treadle that I have fondly named Lucille.
Since then, I've acquired an old Cowichan-style wheel (named Ruth, after my late grandmother) for spinning bulky art yarns, and a Babe e-spinner (Bertha) for plying larger skeins. Professional acid dyes have helped me further expand my knowledge by venturing into hand dyeing. I have a drum carder for making batts and hand pulled roving, a rigid heddle loom, and the most recent acquisition is a Leclerc floor loom which I am slowly getting to know. I hope to eventually share some of my woven items in the shop as well.
Thank you so much for stopping by my shop of handcrafted fiber goodies. I am proud to share my creations with you, and I hope you find something in my shop that helps you discover your inner artist :)

After you have added an item to your cart, and before you check out, on the right hand side underneath the payment options, you will see a blue link that states "apply shop coupon code". Click this and a box will pop up where you can type in the code. Click "apply code", just below the box, and your discount will be shown. Then simply check out as usual.
