I'm happy you took a moment to look at my profile. My name is Rose (nickname: DaRosa) and I was born in Holland. After a move to Canada in October 2008, I started DaRosa Creations in 2009 from our basement.
Today I am a work-from-home mom, doing what I love most: creating! My drawer knobs have traveled all over the world, been in magazines and TV shows. Many happy customers helped me reach where I am today. The basement became too small and we moved, so I could realize my very own studio.
A lot of the items I sell are handmade, but we also sell drawer knobs that are sourced from all over the world.
My head is filled with tonnes of ideas for new types of hardware, but the day to day business takes up a lot of my time. When the studio is ready I hope to be more organized and streamlined, involve the kids to help out and experiment, develop and have fun with new designs.

Creating is something I always enjoyed. Moving from Holland to Canada gave my creative side a chance. After our son was born, I had the time to start DaRosa Creations and grow it into a international business.

Accepted payment methods
13% HST will be calculated on orders shipped within Canada.
Most orders, except custom orders are ready to ship in 3 business days after your payment has cleared. Your order will be marked shipped on Etsy when your shipping label is printed and the items are packed.
Packages are mailed twice a week, usually on Monday and Friday
Packages are shipped with expedited parcel. DaRosa uses a shipping company and will have access to tracking numbers 2-3 days after the shipment. Since most packages are already delivered within that time frame, we do not provide the tracking number. You can request the tracking by contacting us through Etsy.
Packages are dropped of in the US twice a week. Tracking info is provided through Etsy, but it can take a few business days before the tracking information is visible. Shipping labels are printed upfront. There can be a few business days between printing the label and dropping of the package. In general a package arrives within 6-8 business days.
We ship to the address on your Etsy Order Confirmation
International packages are shipped via air without tracking. In general it takes 2-6 weeks for the package to arrive. If you would like a quicker shipping method, contact us and we will look into the possibilities.
DaRosa Creations is not responsible for lost packages.
CUSTOMS & DUTY FEES
For international orders the items must clear customs. It is possible that the customer has to pay duties. The customer is responsible for paying these duties, since DaRosa Creations has no control over these charges.
No paper invoice is included in your package. You can find your digital invoice on the Etsy website under "your account" and in your mail box after ordering.

Frequently asked questions
Are screws included with my purchase?
Yes, except some wall hooks do not have the screws included, due to different mounting surfaces. Drawer Knobs either have a 8/32 1 inch machine screw included or the screws are attached to the knob and the knob is fastened with a bolt on the back. If you need longer or shorter screws, just leave a note with your order.
You are located in Canada, why is shipping within Canada more expensive than to the USA?
Unfortunately Canada Post is very expensive. For my US parcels I use a shipping company that transits my orders across the border. From there they are mailed with United States Postal Services.
I need more knobs than listed, can you make more?
You can see how many drawer knobs I have in stock by clicking the Quantity drop down menu in the listing. If you need more knobs, please contact me and I will inform you about availability and delivery times.
