Accepted payment methods
Don't have or don't want to get a PayPal account? No problem! Here's how to checkout with your Credit or Debit card and no PayPal account:
1: When you're ready to checkout, go to your cart
2: Choose your preferred shipping method
3: Choose PayPal as your payment method
4: Click on Checkout with PayPal (You'll be redirected to PayPal)
5: Instead of choosing to pay with your PayPal account, select the option to pay with a debit or credit card (2nd half of page, grey button near bottom)
6: You'll be prompted to fill in your billing and credit card information.
7: You'll need to enter your email address so PayPal can send you a receipt
8: Click on Continue to return to Etsy Checkout to review and submit your final order.
*Your payment is NOT sent, and your order is NOT placed until you click Submit Order on Etsy*
PayPal allows you to pay using: Your PayPal Balance, Instant transfer from your bank account (if eligible), PayPal Credit, PayPal Cards (PayPal Extras Card or PayPal Smart Connect), Debit card, Credit card, and eCheck (a delayed transfer from your bank account - may result in significantly slower shipping by seller)
Etsy's Direct checkout allows you to pay using: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and Etsy Gift Cards.
PayPal users: Please note that your order is not considered "complete" or "placed" until payment is completed and available to me in my PayPal account (in most cases this is instant, or close to instant)
At this time I do not accept checks, money orders, or any other payment method. I have no plans to do so in the future nor will I accept alternate payment on a case by case basis.
I ship within 2-3 business days (Monday-Friday, excluding holidays) of you placing your order and completing payment.
Upon shipment I update all orders with a tracking number for your convenience. The tracking number will be accessible via your Etsy account and via the shipment email. If for some reason you can't seem to find it just let me know via Etsy Conversations and I'll happily provide it to you. While tracking works well in the USA, international customers should not expect to see up to date tracking information after the order leaves the US.
In the USA: I ship via USPS First Class Mail, USPS Priority Mail, USPS Priority Mail Express, and in some cases UPS Ground and 3 Day Select (see shipping paragraph 1 above for details). In most cases you'll be able to choose which option you'd like during the checkout process (there should be a drop-down menu on the right side of your screen at some point).
Internationally: I ship via USPS First Class Mail International, USPS Priority Mail International, and USPS Priority Mail Express International. Free shipping offers NEVER apply to any international order.
Important: International customers are responsible for knowing of, and paying any and all customs fees/charges/taxes imposed on imports by their country. Dave's Supplies is not responsible for any costs related to your order/package after it is shipped. If an order is returned to Dave's Supplies as a result of the buyer or receiver not paying the required customs fees, a 20% return convenience fee will be deducted from the item price refund (shipping costs are non refundable).
Returns and exchanges
All items, unless otherwise specified in item's description, are eligible for returns and a partial to full item price refund (shipping costs are non-refundable) PROVIDED THAT the following criteria are met:
1: You MUST contact us via Etsy Conversations and let us know that you'd like to make a return within 2 days (NOT business days) of delivery of your item (delivery date as per tracking information associated with your order).
As an example, if your order was delivered on a Friday at 2:00 PM you would have to send us an Etsy Conversation message (not an email) no later than Sunday at 11:59 PM.
As a second example, if your order were to arrive on a Tuesday at 9:00 AM you would have until Thursday at 11:59 PM to send us a message via Etsy Conversations.
2: You must be willing to pay return shipping, and to pack and ship the item(s) back to Dave's Supplies BEFORE your refund is issued. Items not received are not eligible for a refund, regardless of whether or not you have proof of shipment, so insuring your return is highly recommended
3: Once you contact Dave's Supplies (within the 2-day window noted in #1 above), and we send you a return authorization reply with info on completing your return we must receive your return no later than 14 postal days (postal days: Monday-Saturday, excluding federal holidays) from the date on which we send you the return authorization message. The deadline date will be included in your return authorization message along with helpful tips and important information on successfully completing your return. Returns received after the deadline will not be accepted, and will be returned to sender.
4: In order to be eligible for a full item price refund, item(s) must be returned in brand new, unopened, sell-able condition. Items not returned in brand new condition (items returned not in the condition they were in when they were sent out) are subject to one of the following, depending on condition of the item(s) ---> A: a 20% or higher diminished value fee which will be deducted from the item price refund. or B: your return being denied, and the item(s) being returned to you.
I take the time to pack your order so that there is no chance whatsoever of it arriving at your doorstep or mailbox in anything other than the same condition it was in when it was sent out.
I keep an eye on the tracking numbers of all orders I ship, and will proactively investigate and take action on any order that looks like it's not on track. If I notice that an order is running late by more than 2 days (two days over the time-frame specified by USPS) I'll contact you and make sure everything's ok, in some cases (at my discretion) I'll issue a small convenience refund, except during the holiday season.
