Life, like quilts, is a patchwork ....pieced of beautiful remnants, often with frayed edges.
I've always loved to create at heart. This shop supports our household, fuels my passions, preserves my sanity, and is cheaper than therapy. We are NOW going to be offering FREE SPIRIT and Westminster / Rowan fabrics for sale : this helps! Stay tuned. :)
Simply put: I adore fabulous fabric. (By the way: if you don't. You should.) Call it an affection mixed with a bit of reverence & respect. On that basis, you never know what creations will pop up in my shop. My scrap bins are overflowing and I'm happy to keep it that way. (After all , someone's gotta pick up the slack right?) May we crafters never lose the ability to turn our spontaneous epiphanies into blessed cotton realities without delay. Quilters & sewers, my textile orphans await your adoption. I pray they will find a home to nurture & appreciate them as much as I do. I see their great potential & know anyone with great taste will do the same.
And, if you don't find yourself as "handy" with a needle & thread, or lacking a sewing ability altogether, no worries. Buy something I've created here. Whether a finished product or a partially completed piece such as quilt tops and blocks, you'll find it here. At any given moment, there is likely a handmade that will strike your fancy or make a great gift for someone you know.
My daughter's own heartfelt creations are often inter-mingled into these pages. I pray you'll consider supporting her endeavors by throwing a small item of hers into an order if you are drawn to do so. Ultimately, it is my hope that they touch your heart as much as she's touched mine.
Additionally, I have done many custom items and share a love for quilting and out-of-the-box sewing fun. Please let me know if you are interested in something special and don't see it here. I'm in the process of uploading many items and re-setting up shop. :) OUR BLOCK OF THE MONTH GROUP ON FACEBOOK IS A HIT, IF YOU ARE A QUILTER, JOIN US!
May a sweet river of renewal touch you in a special way when you receive an item from my shop & may you be blessed because of it. Thank you for visiting. Welcome.
I began sewing my last month of pregnancy. After my daughter was born, I created nothing for years. I'd fall in love w/ my craft later, due to awesome fabric. First, it was Amy Butler. Next, I discovered quilting. Later, Kaffe Fassett. I was hooked.
