LTJ Beads and Findings | Jewelry Designer Destash Store
If you are reading this, I already know that you share my passion for making jewelry, for beautiful gemstone beads and the endless possibilities of designing jewelry by combining them with precious metal findings. I have been designing and making jewelry and other tiny things as far back as I can remember.
In high school, I was fortunate to be able to take a course in enameling and metalwork, and I was hooked. Soon after that, a friend and I even teamed up to sell our funky enamel jewelry and my own speciality, safety pin bracelets, in local boutiques in my hometown. Throughout high school and college, I continued to make jewelry for myself and friends...and could never get enough of buying beads or making new things out of vintage pieces I found in my mother and grandmother's jewelry boxes.
In 2006, I started my jewelry business. When I was first starting out, I could not help buying lots and lots of beads and findings I loved, and then I designed my jewelry around them. Some of those designs worked...some didn't. As my business has grown (and my storage space has not!), I have narrowed my focus and realized that I had a large inventory of beautiful gemstone beads and jewelry findings that no longer fit the current direction my jewelry designs.
I knew I had found the right place to share these supplies with others when another jewelry designer friend told me about her Etsy "destah" store. So, I decided to open LTJ Beads and Findings instead of holding on to all the beautiful, high quality supplies I was no longer using in my current jewelry collections.
Thank you for visiting LTJ Beads and Findings, and I hope you can find some gemstone beads and findings from my collections that will inspire you to design and make some beautiful jewelry, too.
LTJ Beads & Findings is owned by a jewelry designer based just outside Chicago. She opened this shop to destash her large collection of high quality materials that she has accumulated over the years, but no longer uses for her current jewelry line.
