Meet Mrs Bath
Mrs Bath was created to provide her shoppers with a narrative… an ongoing story behind the objects (the “treasures”) that she sells in her store. She is based not on one person but on many and thus can connect with or remind her shoppers of someone they know, or knew, or who was in their family.
Mrs Bath has taken on a life of her own. She has her blog as well as her store. She reveals little pieces of her story in each item’s description or in each blog post. She is witty, eccentric, kind hearted and wise. She brings to life the treasures that are sold in her store by providing a glimpse of their history, their purpose or of the happy discovery of each object. In this way, the shopper can connect with the item before making it a treasure of their own… something to love, something to use, something to repurpose, something that will give them great pleasure to have.

Accepted payment methods
If you would prefer to use Parcel Post for small orders, please convo me. Also, if you need next day delivery, please let me know and I can send your order Express Post. There may be an increased shipping cost for these options.
International deliveries: I use Australia Post’s international economy letter post for small, lightweight items (such as lace and doilies) up to a total weight of 500g and standard parcel post for all bulky, larger items or orders over 500g.
Please note: Letter Post does not come with tracking and while I will make every effort to ensure your order arrives in good condition, the exterior envelope is paper, not plastic. Items sent via Parcel Post will receive a tracking number and will come in a plastic satchel.
If you would prefer Parcel Post for smaller orders, please convo me. This will add to your shipping costs.
While Australia Post estimates the delivery time for international airmail is 12+ business days, some countries can take a longer than others to deliver your parcel. Sometimes there can also be unexpected delays such as customs/border issues, weather or other unaccountable reasons which are beyond my control.
Please allow a minimum of 12+ working days for international postage to the US and UK and even longer for all other countries... German customs is apparently particularly slow at clearing international mail for delivery.
Lost Parcels: So far we have only once had an issue with lost parcels (that parcel was eventually delivered to the buyer - it just seemed to have gotten a bit lost on the way!). If your order has not been received in the time frame below, I will count the parcel as missing and issue you with a refund.
Australia: 4 weeks
International: 10 weeks.
Customs: You may be charged customs fees prior to delivery which are not included in the price of goods or delivery that you pay to Mrs Bath’s Drawers. You must pay these fees directly to your country’s custom agent.

Additional policies and FAQs
Like Mrs Bath, items in our store are old. They have lived a life and been handled by people in the past. Sometimes they show their age, but to me this is part of their appeal. The majority of items are in good condition for their age however, if there is any obvious damage, marks or imperfections, I will note this in the item’s description. Photos of items are also a truthful reflection of the item’s condition. Any marks, damage or wear will be visible.
Every effort is made to accurately represent each item in their photos. However, please remember that colours and tones can vary from monitor to monitor.
With all vintage items, what each item is made from is my best educated guess. Some items are fairly obvious but some can be hard to distinguish. I make my best effort to be as accurate as possible and hope there are no mistakes!
At Mrs Bath's Drawers we like to do our bit to reduce waste. We reuse clean cardboard, bubble wrap and tissue paper in our packaging.
