So what really happens once you place an order?
The proof of the pudding
Once the label design has been submitted it's time to print. This is my favourite part, when the design comes alive for the first time :) I love how our industrial printer can really bring out every intricate detail of even the most exquisite design.
We print one or two versions of the order as a test, take some pictures and send them back to you. I'm not a fan of doing pure digital proofs for care labels, as the actual design is just a part of the story. A lot depends on the ink and of course on the material itself, the way the light bounces off the surface, or the way the design appears on the label: A care label text might be completely readable on the monitor, but might be too narrow on a 1.5cm strip. So digital photo of the actual print is a better way to sending a pdf in our opinion.
Once the print has been accepted we are good to go, but what if we need to modify the design? It is not a big deal at all, in fact we are not happy until we get that "Ah these are the fabric labels of my dreams, please print and ship them ASAP" reaction. That's when we know that you will like what you receive without doubt. :)
The other bonus of the printed proof is, that once it had been accepted we don't need to do any alterations from our part. All we have to make sure is that the quality is great for every copy that comes out of the printer - and this is one of the reasons why we installed an industrial grade machine in-house: to personally check every single print before packing.
Once the print is completed the goods are back on the proofing table and packed/shipped the next possible day (on some occasions the same day). All this in less than 24 hours from the final acceptance of the proofs.
We wouldn't be able to operate the way we do if we sent on the print jobs on to 3rd party industrial printers: we (and you) would miss out on so many goodies that we can offer right now: true print proofing, super fast turnaround, quality control. We wouldn't sell labels that are printed in any other way.

Custom Clothing Labels / Custom Stickers - We aim to send your proof in 24 hours, after which labels are printed and shipped in 48 hours from final approval
Name Tags and everything else - printed and shipped in 3 business days
If you require faster processing: we have a rush order upgrade available for speedy despatch (guaranteed 24 hours, usually same day)

Standard shipping times (estimated) are:
USA/CAN - 5-7 working days - fully tracked
UK - 1 working day / Special delivery 1pm available as upgrade
EU - 3-5 working days / 2-4 with priority tracked upgrade
Rest of the world - 5-10 working days - fully tracked
Working days=M-F / Standard shipping is fully tracked
USA/Canada - FedEx priority - next working day (this is awesome stuff)
EU - TNT/UPS/FedEx - next working day
rest of the world - 1-4 working days, depends on location (ask in advance)
Express shipping WILL require a phone number (cell preferred), and cannot be a sent to a PO Box.
All international shipments will be sent with the relevant customs forms accurately filled. If your location requires additional handling procedures please let us know BEFORE you place your order.
Our responsibility: We are responsible for neatly packaging your goods and dispatching them in a timely manner. We are also responsible for the clear labeling of parcels using the information you provide through etsy in a convo or purchase notes. We will make sure that all international shipments comply with the relevant customs forms (if applicable)
Once we hand the shipment over to the courier our responsibility ENDS there.
You are responsible for tracking the shipment using the tracking number/links provided (if applicable) and contact your local delivery company in case of any problems. If the tracking information shows "Delivered" however you haven't received your goods YOU should seek help from your local courier WITHOUT DELAY, as every day spent without taking action will significantly reduce your chances of getting your goods.
We provide various delivery options for different delivery speed/security requirements and it is YOUR responsibility to choose the one most suited to your needs. If your super important "required for new product launch next week" labels take an extra 3 days to arrive, or are delivered to the wrong address (due to the fault of the courier) we CAN NOT be held responsible. In these cases please consider choosing an express courier from the list or get in touch with us first!
In case of a lost parcel we can start a formal investigation with your chosen courier, and reimburse you once that investigation has concluded (and we got reimbursed ourselves), but we can not print you a new set of labels unless you place another order.
If you need further clarification with regards to any of the above please get in touch BEFORE you place your order, as by making a purchase you are agreeing to these terms.
Returns and exchanges
All our listings clearly state the technical details of the product, including if a label can or cannot incorporate colors in the print. If you have any questions regarding a listing ask BEFORE you make a payment, any refunds made because you purchased the wrong item or it doesn't suit your needs (eg.: can't have colour) will incur the transaction fees that payment providers charge to us. Typically in the case of Paypal, (who retains £0.2 of the fees we pay to them even after a full refund) we would refund you in full, less the £0.2 retained by paypal
