Handcrafting Italian Pens
We are a small family owned Italian company. There are 3 of us: my husband, Maurizio Stura, he is occupied with pens design, engineering, leather-dressing and raw materials supply; my husband's father, Alessandro Stura, mechanical ingenuity and guilloche engraving, me, Nadia, busy in assembling and handling.
It happened that my husband was born in a small Italian town, Settimo, near Turin city, which had been designated in early 30s for producing writing instruments. And so since early childhood he has been engaged in assembling pens for different companies. He has never given up making pens and creating new models even though nowadays smart computers are taking the place of this creative writing instrument. Maurizio says our pens can write any work of art in any language of the world... It's up to you do decide:) But we like to think that you feel happy and comfortable writing with our pens.
Silver, wood, resin, leather, stone - a large variety of raw materials we are constantly being in search for helps us to create different pens we hope will become someone's daily inspiration to stop the time and write several lines by hand. We believe that today when everyone of us is in hurry and has an electronic device, writing a letter or a postcard by hand becomes a truly precious and emotional gift. Different handwriting is a part of our personality and it makes us special - whether we sign an agreement or write a love poem . We are happy to create different pens like different personalities to make our customers to enjoy writing.

You often ask us how to take care of solid wood pens we'd like to suggest you using natural beeswax paste. Beeswax paste provides an additional layer of protection on your pen wood surface, nourishing your pen and helping to protect against dryness, especially perfect for absorbent woods like oak. It is very easy to apply, buff and maintain from time to time when your pen barrel gets drier or colourless, since it is quite usual when you use your favourite pen every day. The pen is living when it writes well!
To remove the natural tarnish from solid silver 925 just take a pinch of baking soda and a piece of slightly wet cotton cloth, polish gently the silver surface. For gold-plated and silver-plated fittings please use only a cotton cloth without baking soda. Also you can buy special cleaning cloth for silverware here:
