Linking our tomorrows with the treasures of yesterday. A precious gift that can be cherished and shared along the way.
To tell this story I must start at the beginning...
One day my father gathered me, my sister an two brothers and proceeded to hand each of his four young children a small box.
As we wondered what was going on, he proceeded to tell us that we were moving. Not only that, we could only take with us what would fit into each of our boxes.
The following week we watched as everything we owned, save what we stuffed into four small boxes, sold at auction.
Looking back on that now, I think in some small way my passion for collecting comes from trying to replace the things that were left behind.
During my journey, experiencing good times and bad, I learned that the most important part of life was not seeking out things, although I did find some amazing treasures; but rather the precious memories of family and friends, those loyal, precious loved ones that remained at my side as I walked the path of life.
