It all began long long ago when I was just eleven...a nurse gave me an old (but dependable) sewing machine. I started by making pillowcases and it escalated from there.
Fast forward ten years and I'm making baby quilts, clothes and other baby necessities.
When my aunt joined a great company called It Works still a couple years later, she asked me to design a strap to make things easier for her business. That's when the wrap strap was born and I began to sell them in 2010. The Wrap Strap business slowly evolved into a baby wear business. When customers asked me to create an item I had no pattern for, I made my own. It was in 2013 that I created and sold my first pattern, Beanstalk Britches, after a strong push from a sewing group I was active in. The outpour of support that I constantly receive from customers, testers, and my admin is what led Stitch Upon a Time to what it is today.
I've been happily sewing away since I was a little girl, and never dreamed that it would one day help to support my little family. Sewing is my main squeeze when it comes to hobbies. That's why every item that I stitch is done so lovingly.
