Sharing my Primitive Wares
My love of creating primitive wares began back in 1990. It started by selling a few Amish dolls to a local gift shop and realizing I could make some "fun money" and at the same time to be a Stay-At-Home-Mom! In 1994 I began doing local craft shows and then started my first website in 1997 which opened many new doors.
Now my children are all grown up and married so my title has changed from Stay-At-Home-Mom to full time Folk Artist! The desire to create with my hands seems to grow fonder every year with no end in sight! My favorite Proverb: She seeketh wool, and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands.
I love working with wool for appliquéing and rug hooking. Creating needle punch designs and hand stitching ornaments, pillow tucks and framed treasures.
My husband periodically goes into his workshop to build some wonderful wooden wares for me to paint and distress to go along with my handmades.
Owner, Maker, Designer
Crafting is my life! Not many days go by that I don't have a needle and thread in my hand. It's been over 20 years and still loving every minute of it!
