The Fabric Fox is a UK-based online fabric shop that sells cotton fabric in fat quarters, half metres and metres, as well as bundles. We love picking out premium quality cotton fabrics with colourful, modern and bold designs.
We pride ourselves on our prices, swift delivery and excellent customer service.
Accepted payment methods
Customers are responsible for any additional charges at customs. Unfortunately, this will delay delivery. This is out of our control so we can only apologise for the inconvenience.
Rest of the World- £10.00
We aim to process all orders within 1-2 working days.
All UK orders will be posted via Royal Mail Second Class post which they aim to deliver in 2-3 working days.
If you would like to upgrade your UK shipping to First class you can do so for an extra £1 on the checkout page.
All orders to Europe will be posted via International Standard which aims to deliver within 3-5 working days.
All orders to the rest of the world will be posted via International Standard which aims to deliver within 5-7 working days.
If you would like to add order tracking and insurance to your order please contact us and we can set up a custom order for you.
For orders sent outside of the UK customs charges can sometimes be applied upon receipt of your order and are the responsibility of the customer. Customs charges and rules vary by location, so please check with your local tax office for more information on additional customs charges that may apply.
If any international orders cost significantly more to post we reserve the right to contact you to inform you of the higher postage cost. We will only process your order once you have confirmed you are happy with the change in price. Or if you are planning on placing a large order please feel free to contact us first and we will be happy to advise you on postage costs.

We use a combination of stock images (from the designer/manufacturer) and our own photographs to present the fabrics we sell. All parties have tried their best to represent the colours as accurately as possible. However, we can't guarantee an exact match and therefore fabrics may look different upon arrival.
INFORMATION COLLECTED AND RECEIVED
When you place an order we need to collect certain information to fulfil your request. Customers voluntarily provide their name, Etsy usersame (unless checking out as a guest), delivery address and email address. All of this data is securely stored on Etsy and our Shop. We retain this information for a historical record of our Services.
CHOICE, CONTROL AND YOUR RIGHTS
If you have an account and you would like to update your details you can do this at any time by signing in and viewing your public profile. From here you can edit your profile. If you would like your personal data erased please contact us and we will do our best to delete any information we have gathered. However, to be completely forgotten please contact Etsy directly. A record of your transactions must be retained for legitimate business purposes.
The information you provide us with is shared with Royal Mail, Parcel Monkey and MyHermes as these are the companies we work with to ship orders. If you would like your personal data forgotten by these third parties please contact them directly. You can contact us to find out which of these shipping services may have information about you.

If you feel like we are misusing your information you have the right to object to the way we are processing your personal data but by doing so you will no longer being able to use our Services.
CORRESPONDENCE WITH US
When you place an order we will send you an email to confirm your purchase. We will also send you an email when your order has been shipped and/or when a refund has been issued. Emails are sent automatically through Etsy to the email address provided by you. You may also receive an email from PayPal and/or your bank to confirm payment for your purchase and/or when a refund has been issued. Please visit PayPal and your bank's website if you wish to edit your email notification settings.
When a purchase has been made Etsy automatically emails us to notify us of the activity. PayPal also automatically emails us to confirm payment. Your information contained within these emails are your name, delivery address and email address.
If we need to contact you we will message you using Etsy Conversations. If we cannot contact you via Conversations we may attempt to contact you via email using the email address provided by you. These messages are stored on Etsy and on our Shop. We retain this information for a historical record of our Services and as evidence of correspondence between ourselves and our customers, and we advise customers to keep a record of any correspondence with us.
The emails we receive are securely stored on Gmail and only we have access to The Fabric Fox UK Gmail account. We love to see what you make with our fabrics and if we want to show off your talent and creativity on social media we will contact you, either by Etsy Conversations, email or on the social media channel we found you on. Photos used are stored on our Dropbox account and/or our office computer, and we will retain the photos for as long as we are able to use them to promote our Services.
The Fabric Fox UK Etsy Shop is a public page that can be viewed by anyone, and anyone can leave a comment or product review. You don't have to use this Service but if you choose to leave a comment/review then your name, username and anything you share can be read, collected and used by others.

Specific information is shared with our newsletter service provider and is only done so with your consent.
Our Shop has third party plug-ins that allow you to share our products on social media channels. We have no control over the information they are able to collect when you use the third party plug-ins. The Fabric Fox UK operates in England, United Kingdom but we ship orders on a global scale. Therefore, your information may be transferred to territories in which you do not reside, and every country has its own rules and regulations when it comes to processing personal data. Even though the majority of our customers reside in the UK, Etsy is based in the United States of America, so in order for us to carry out the Services we provide we need to move your information whenever and wherever it is required.

If you suspect that your account has been accessed by somebody else, or without your permission, change your password immediately.

We use secure payment facilities and follow generally accepted industry standards and practices to process online purchases. Your information is safely processed using SSL encryption software through PayPal and our merchant service provider. Our merchant providers then inform us, via the encryption system, the outcome of the transaction. Once your transaction is complete you will receive an email to confirm your order has been paid for. Please keep this email as proof of purchase. When you pay for your order your bank details are not stored on Etsy. A record of all transactions is stored on PayPal and this includes your name, delivery address and email address. No credit card details are remembered. This information is retained for legal purposes and as a historical record of our Services.
We print invoices which contain your name, delivery address and email address, and these are placed in with your order. Any other copies containing your information are shredded and disposed of appropriately.
All devices used to carry out our Services are password-protected and are only accessed by us. All devices are installed with antivirus and malware protection software.
The personal data we collect is retained for as long as it is considered purposeful. When you make an account the information you provide is remembered until your account is deleted. When you place an order a record of your transaction history is created and it is retained as a historic record of our Services.
