A passion for textiles
Over the years, I've designed a lot of things; knitted, crocheted, embroidered. Here are some of my favourites that I hope will inspire and challenge you.
Owner, Maker, Designer
As a child, I spent hours making things; sewing, knitting, messing with yarn, threads, fabrics, beads. Now it's my job, how lovely!
I am a knitwear designer and have been designing and writing knitting patterns for many years. I have written knitting books, my work has been published in magazines and by yarn companies.
I take great care to ensure that the patterns are accurate, that they are written clearly, and that every knitting technique used in the pattern is illustrated with a diagram.
I also write books on cross stitch and I was a designer for DMC, a major needlecraft supplier. I have designed all the cross stitch designs in my store, making the charts clear and easy to work from.
You can see my books and other information about me on my website www.clairecrompton.co.uk.
If you are in the UK, the prices shown will include VAT. If you have any queries, please contact me via a conversation.
