How our Pottery Throwing Came About!
Back in the the 80's while living in Albuquerque, my husband, Adron, and I took a pottery class, the same class, I might add. I must have been thinking about fabric; certainly, it isn't that I am too uncoordinated to be successful at throwing a bowl on a potter's wheel. He was successful in this and pursued it for a few years. Other interests took place of pottery so the equipment was stored until we moved to SC. There, it sat in storage again for a few years. After moving to Ft. Collins the equipment was stored in the basement for a few more years, and we decided it was time to part with it.
We both kinda looked at each other and said, "Want to try it one more time, now that we are retired?" Well, here we are. He loves creating beautiful pieces of stoneware pottery while I make buttons.
We thank you for taking the time to browse around in our shop, and, if you purchase one of our items, we hope you enjoy using it.
