I've had an online store since living in the Silicon Valley in the late ‘90s. An engineer friend gave me 4 hours of html training, and the rest of my site is history! I've been a quilter for decades; although the first quilt is stupendously badly made. I've loved fabric and designing all my life. My first attempt at creating my world was on my window shade, to the dismay of my parents. Despite being an artist at heart, playing piano by ear, I reluctantly managed to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Business due to the uncertainty of the economy in the 1980s looking forward to gainful employment. There were few jobs available in the rust belt, so I moved west to CA; home for 17 years. After graduating from Santa Clara University, and marrying in its Mission, I decided that due to my flawed “tact” gene, I’d be better off not working for corporate America. I made my way to the top immediately by owning Pat on the Back, my own business. Making handcrafted products was the first phase of the business, but I found that others shared my love of fabric, and decided to make fabric available to all. I've made my home in Arizona since 2001 with the love of my life.

I always find the most economic and and efficient way to ship. Shipping overpayments greater than $2 are generally refunded by me after you receive your package.
Etsy's shipping calculator cannot possibly account for flat-rate and regional rate packaging used for packages exceeding 16 oz (one pound). See previous paragraph.

To maintain security, I am obligated to ship only to the address provided in the original order. I am not responsible for shipping to addresses supplied by the purchaser after order has been placed. I only have your shipping address, not your billing address.
Most items shipped within one business day of receipt - even the same day! Tracking available for every order. I am a big fan of the US postal service, which does a fabulous job in most cases.
For additional insurance, please make a note when you purchase, as I have absolutely zero control over post offices and employees. Thus, I am not liable for their mistakes and their mistakes are not a reflection on my shop.

Expect your order to arrive after it clears customs, which could be as long as a month, but often less time.
Generally, tracking is available to the US border, although it is available internationally in many cases. For additional insurance, contact me BEFORE you purchase, as it is available on most packages for a nominal fee.
I cannot refund lost, stolen, delayed, or any other damaged packages, since I have no control once it is tendered to any other entity or its employees. If you have not received your parcel, please contact your local postmaster with the tracking information I have sent. I do not have any additional information available but they may, and I will not replace missing parcels.

Multiple fabric quantities
FABRIC ISN'T CUT UNTIL YOU PURCHASE, and will be continuous, rather than cut separately, just like in brick and mortar fabric shops. Shipping to your location available at the item detail.
What does it cost to ship?
Etsy's built-in shipping calculator is used for just about every item. Put your zip code or postal code in, and select the delivery speed.
Etsy's calculator estimates priority and first class pretty well, but can't possibly account for regional rate and flat-rate packaging, which is often lower. Shop policies have more shipping information.
Estimate on USPS' shipping calculator (postcalc.usps.gov) from my zip code 85269 to yours. Most fabric weighs 4-6 oz. per yard, so enter a weight and your and my zip codes to gauge.
How much do you have?
If you'd like more than appears in the pull-down menu, read the description to see if the total amount available is listed, such as, "only one available." If the description doesn't say how much is available, tell me HOW MUCH more you'd like, and I'll let you know if I have as much as you are interested in. That'll save both of us time.
Exchange policy (excluding cut fabric)
No refunds nor exchanges on custom orders, cut fabric, patterns, and some other items. Please note the word EXCHANGE - money is not refunded.

In the event of an exchange of SALEABLE items, you'll pay for shipping both ways, which means shipping to you, and shipping back to me with delivery confirmation.
Your exchange amount will be a credit for a future purchase, or an item exchange. If what you returned to me can't be sold as new, it is not returnable. You wouldn't want to purchase something as new that isn't really new, would you?
